Gallery Zlati ajngel is the exhibition space of the company with the same name established in 1991 in Varaždin at 15 Gajeva Street (courtyard) following the reconstruction of a ruinous business facility until then used as carpenters' workshop. The newly remodelled two-floor building covers the surface of almost 140 square metres, with 90 square metres used as exhibition area and around 40 metres of wall in length. The space is equipped with anti-burglary system and fire protection, and the equipment for multimedia presentations.

The Gallery opened its doors in 1998 with the exhibition Finnish Design and it has regularly organized approximately ten exhibitions a year ever since. In recognition of its merit, the Gallery programme has been regularly included (since 2003) in the Programme of public needs in culture of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia. A contribution to said reputation is also made by the continuous presentation of renowned Slovenian authors as a part of interstate collaboration, so that the Gallery has so far presented a series of authors - laureates of prestigious Slovenian state awards for life achievement and the awards of the Prešeren Foundation. Gallery profile is not strictly defined by stylistic, technological, or period parameters, so that it features all art forms (painting, sculpture, design, photography, etc.) of various auctorial approaches. The aesthetic credo of the Gallery can be defined as interest in workmanlike discipline and respect of the principle of visual communication.

Among others, the following authors have been exhibited at the Gallery: Lovro Artuković, Gordana Bakić, Petar Barišić, Darwin Butković, Jean Carzou, Đani Celija, Bojan Damiš, Damir Fabijanić, Dušan Fišer, Jennifer Garrett, Duje Jurić, Dušan Kirbiš, Zlatko Kopljar, Nikola Koydl, Željko Lapuh, Boris Leiner, Goran Merkaš, Ivan Mesek, Laszlo Nemes, Zoltan Novak, Šime Perić, Stanko Posavec, Ivo Prančić, Oto Rimele, Igor Rončević, Branko Ružić, Deborah Tuberville, Mio Vesović, Šime Vidulin, Vladimir Vrljić – Ankin, Anabel Zanze, and many others.

Gallery Zlati anjgel has also organized several group thematic exhibitions such as Finnish Design, 30th Zagreb Salon, 9th International Exhibition of Photography, Varaždin Photo Reporters, and other.

Gallery activity has very good media coverage and a large audience, especially among high school students. The Gallery offers a complete service of organizing exhibitions ranging from the definition of concepts, the realization of accompanying publications and electronic promotional materials to art and technical layout of the exhibition.
