Exhibition space of the gallery is 5 x 6 x 5 m. It has gallery illumination, and works are placed directly on the walls or hanged on ropes.
The gallery is open from 10.00 a.m. – 01.00 p.m. and from 05.00 –07.00 p.m. with a possibility of holding viewings by appointment.
Gallery Alvona opened its doors on 16 July 1993 in the old town nucleus of the town of Labin, after a two-year improvement, reconstruction and restoration of the desacralized little church of Our Lady of Carmel. In the course of past fifteen years of its work, Gallery Alvona has organized 62 solo and 15 group. exhibitions, along with 7 exchanges of its own projects with other galleries in Croatia and abroad. Besides exhibition activity, Gallery Alvona is engaged in publications.
